Registration: Registration and distribution
of kits will take place at the Secretariat (Tabanan Room), Radisson Bali
Hotel, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2002. For participants
who will be bringing their respective workshop fee payment to Bali, kindly
present it upon registration on Tuesday, June 4, 2002.
Climate and Clothing: You can expect
pleasant day temperatures between 20 to 33 degrees Celsius or 68 to 93
degrees Fahrenheit year-round. Light clothing for outdoor wear is advisable.
However, it is also advisable to bring a formal attire and/or national
costume for some special functions, which will be arranged for the participants.
Electricity: Power supply is usually
220 volts, 50 hertz. Normal outlets are European style sockets, accepting
plugs with two rounded pins.
Time: Standard Bali Time is 8 hours
ahead of GMT and 16 hours ahead of United States Pacific Standard Time.
Tours/Cultural Orientation: A sightseeing
tour of Bali Island will be arranged. More information on this trip will
be announced separately when it becomes available.
Insurance: The workshop organizers
are not providing participants (including resource persons) with any insurance
coverage. Thus, participants and resource persons should be responsible
for their own insurance coverage (i.e., travel accidents, medical, etc.).
It is strongly recommended that participants make their own medical insurance
arrangements before traveling to Bali, Indonesia. Participants should
also bring their own personal medication used for minor sickness such
as, cold, headaches, stomach indigestion, etc.

Venue:
- Al Ihsaan Mosque is located
100 meters away from Radisson Bali Hotel.
- Catholic Mass is held
every Saturday from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Grand Bali Beach Hotel, from
7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Bali Hyatt Hotel, and every Sunday from 6:00
to 7:30 p.m. at Maria Bunda Segala Bangsa Church (Bukit Kampial, Nusa
Dua).
- Protestant/Interdenominational
service is held every Sunday from 10:00 to 12:00 a.m. at Bukit Doa
Church (Dharmawangsa Kampial, Nusa Dua), and from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
at Grand Bali Beach Hotel.
