Dr.
Mercita Pamittan is the newly appointed training officer of St. Paul University,
which is located at Tuguegarao City, The Philippines. From 1994-1998, she
was the Subject Area Chairman for Nutrition and Dietetics and also Hotel
and Restaurant Management. She became the Program Coordinator for Hotel
and Restaurant Management in 1999. She is a member of the Commission on
Higher Education (CHED) Regional Quality Assurance Team (RQUAT) for Hotel
and Restaurant Management. She conducts Nutrition review for Nursing graduates
at St. Paul University. She is the current Vice-President for Nutrition
and Dietetics Association of the Philippines, Cagayan Chapter. She obtained
her Master's Degree in Home Economics at St. Paul University and Ph.D. in
Educational Management in the same institution.At present she works with the School of Health Sciences of St. Paul University, teaches Nutrition students and Nutrition subject in Nursing. She will take care of the training program of the University effective school year 2002.
