Ms. Farina PANE
Ms. Farina Pane is a Senior Manager in Learning and Education of Ernst & Young Indonesia, one of the big four accounting firm in Indonesia. She has more than 17 years experience in Accounting Education System. She has a strong knowledge and background in the areas of developing a structured learning program of accounting education. Between 1986 and 1997, she was a lecturer in STIE YKPN Yogyakarta, Indonesia, where she was also a Vice President Director of Academic Affairs. During February 1998 to October 1998, she was a Human Resource Manager in KPMG Hanadi, Sujendro & Rekan, one of the Big five accounting firms at that time. Before 1998, she had an opportunity to involve in consultancy services for PT Timah Tbk., Pangkal Pinang. She holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting from Gajah Mada University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia and a Master of Business Administration Degree in Finance from the Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA. While working with STIE YKPN, she taught various accounting and managerial courses. In addition to university teaching, she conducted numerous workshop and public speaking seminars. Her main responsibilities as Senior Manager in Learning and Education in Ernst & Young are among others: developing a curriculum for client services division which includes technical as well as soft skill training programs; setting up an automation system for learning and education processes using a lotus notes basis; establishing Professional Education System & Procedure; developing office policies regarding Ernst & Young participation to Ujian Sertifikasi Akuntan Publik, Certified Financial Analyst, and Certified Information System Auditor; delivering technical as well as soft skills training for internal staff; etc. Ms. Farina PANE |
